Holding Patterns is a bar/cafe specialising in high quality coffee and cocktails, soundtracked with one of the best hifi listening systems in Leeds. The venue is home to regular DJ nights, an intimate social area and good vibes, always. We’re a community of culture-lovers, tucked away in the heart of everything.

We’ve thought hard about the sort of sound experience we’re creating for Leeds…
We’ve picked Martin Audio for our sound system – crisp, easy to talk over AND easy to get lost in. The finishing touch in the signal chain is our mixer from the legends over at Master Sounds – a Radius 4 Valve, it really makes the music sing.
For the decks we’ve got Technic & Pioneers, allowing us to host digital and vinyl DJs playing something for everyone.

We care a lot about coffee.
Our machine is a San Remo 8 – it’s insanely versatile, with customisable temperature controls, so coffee is extracted to its optimum flavour profile and has consistent quality for every cup we make.
Beans are the Casa Espresso Brazil range. For years, Brazil has been producing the most sought-after beans due to their low acidity and intense sweetness, with a chocolate/nutty/caramel flavour profile that compliments milk and water.
The bean is dried with its husk on to capture all of the flavour from the fruit, before being shipped, roasted, and ending up here for us to serve daily to likeminded coffee lovers.
